Description
Golden yellow when young with a slow evolution to an even more golden hue with time in the bottle.
The nose is very expressive – aromatic and fruity. Lychee, honey-suckle, lemon blossom.
Lively fresh white fruits in the ‘attack’ move through a reasonably linear mid-palate and into a long clean finish. There is a seam of acidity that runs alongside the fruit to retain freshness and balance.
This wine was made from a mixture of both over-ripe, golden berries and fully sporulating Viognier. Tank fermented at cool temperatures, no oak. Estate bottled and labelled.
